Digital Publication/Manifesto
September 2025
Brief:
This digital manifesto was created in response to a brief asking us to define what design should stand for today. It reflects on how automation and templated tools have simplified creative practice at the expense of depth and empathy. The work argues that design must resist this simplification and reclaim its human core. Presented as a satirical digital publication, the Death of the Designer, it comments on the profession’s vulnerability to replacement by technology. Viewers can interact with the manifesto online, rearranging pages and interpreting the imagery, mirroring the tension between human creativity and automated production.
